Healing Spirit Body Therapies LLC was opened in October 2003 to provide a space to bridge Western and Eastern medicine modalities encompassing mind-body-spirit. With 14+ years of hospital nursing experience and a medical /holistic massage practice since 1999. I have had my feet in both worlds of healing and am committed to enhancing and promoting the growth of therapeutic massage as a prevention and complimentary medical modality for holistic healing and healthcare. I am an advocate for our clients in receiving insurance coverage for massage sessions. We have an ongoing list of successfully billed insurances.
Most recently in the spring of 2005 after having a severe allergic reaction to a preservative used in most skin care products I became aware of the importance and necessity of organics, not only for the chemically sensitive but for all people to decrease our personal expose and take control whenever possible to the reduction of exposure of chemicals to ourselves and the environment. I am committed to using only certified organic products at home and at Healing Spirit. This is a chemical free zone. I make our special cocoa butter salve from all certified organic ingredients, which is used in our massage sessions. We use only earth friendly cleaning agents. 2008 is implementation of zero waste. Our Plan is of becoming carbon neutral in the future.
Thank You for taking the
time to get to know us,
Many Blessings on your path,
Natural Medicine
